MV Agusta
At the end of World War II MV Agusta released their first motorcycle, a 98cc two-stroke single named simply the ’98’. When motorcycle racing resumed in Europe in the fifties MV used their technologically superior machines to secure a foothold in the European market. MV took an “optimal compromise” approach with their consumer motorcycles, focusing on reliability and cheap running costs. So reliable was the 2 seater ’83’ that in 1959 they offered an astounding 100,000km warranty on the engine. Today MV Agusta produce a range of performance focused street bikes.
