Triton

There are many bastard child motorcycles born of mixed parentage. Some should never have been conceived and yet others like the Triton were a match made in motorcycle heaven. Take one of the best frames of the 1960’s, a Norton Featherbed, and introduce it to one of the best engines of the day, a Triumph T120 parallel twin and together they made beautiful music.

Triton’s were perhaps the beginning of the café racer. Many were lovingly handmade and soon private firms caught on and were offering aftermarket Triton kits. The Triton stands out as one of the most successful and enduring matings in the world of motorcycle mashups.
