Riding Gear – Icon 1000 AXYS gloves
Builders of inventively unique motorcycles and makers of tough and functional riding gear, Icon 1000 are a company of riders with a stated goal of protecting those who ride the streets. Take these Axys gloves for example. Constructed using two different, two-toned leathers, impact-protecting knuckle inserts, and accordion flex panels, every angle of the AXYS gloves has been obsessed over and executed with riding comfort and safety in mind.
The main body of the Icon 1000 Axys Gloves are French cowhide with a palm overlay of ‘Battlehide’ goatskin — a softer, thinner and lighter leather that allows for a more dexterous fit. Breathable and abrasion resistant, the leathers combine to keep you warm on colder rides but won’t make you feel like you’re wearing latex gloves on warmer days. For fit and movement, the AXYS gloves feature expansion gussets for a wider range of flexibility.
When it comes to protection, D3O knuckle inserts safeguard your hands while keeping a low profile and minimizing bulk. Designed to move with you as they protect, and layered to provide insulating breathability, Icon 1000’s AXYS gloves are built to perform.
