Return of the Cafe Racers - The start of something big

The start of something big

I’ve developed an obsession which keeps me in front of my computer most lunch breaks. I’ve fallen for motorbikes in a big way. I’m not talking about your 300km an hour Yamaha or Suzuki sportbikes though. I’m talking about something much more interesting. A style of motorcycle that can only be described as original. A style of motorcycle that defined an era and I’m pretty sure will soon have it’s second coming.

Welcome to ‘Return of the Cafe Racers’.

My name is Geoff Baldwin, an Australian blogger and backyard (or front porch) custom motorcycle builder. I launched this blog so that people who share my passion for cafe racers and custom motorcycles can find inspiration for their own projects. Over time I hope that this site can become a place where people can pick up new skills to help them build their own bikes or, at the very least, join in on discussions with other builders. If you’d like to get in touch with me to share your cafe racer build click the submissions link in the top menu. If you’d like to get in touch to contribute an idea or to simply say hello you can use the form below.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoy the ride!
