Auto Fabrica takes the dependable Honda CB750 Nighthawk and transforms it into a striking neo-retro café racer with real performance intent. Built by brothers Gaz Muhare and Bjar Muhare, the project blends handcrafted artistry with modern engineering, resulting in a machine that feels both futuristic and timeless.
Design Philosophy
Originally known for its durability rather than excitement, the CB750 Nighthawk is reimagined here as something far more engaging. The goal was not to rely on nostalgia, but to create a refined, purpose-driven motorcycle meant for meaningful rides. The result is a balance of neo-retro styling, race-inspired proportions, and minimalist sophistication—simple at a glance, yet deeply intricate upon closer inspection.
Craftsmanship & Bodywork
The bike features an exceptionally clean and seamless carbon composite monocoque body, wrapped tightly around a hidden aluminum fuel cell. Panel gaps are virtually nonexistent, giving it a sculptural, almost gallery-worthy presence. Titanium is used extensively, including in the trellis structure supporting the front fairing, emphasizing both strength and lightweight construction.
Engine & Performance
The engine has been completely rebuilt and fitted with Mikuni flatslide carburetors and velocity stacks, delivering sharp throttle response and a more aggressive character. A custom titanium 4-into-1 exhaust system enhances both performance and acoustics—reportedly producing one of the most refined sounds ever achieved by Auto Fabrica.
Chassis & Suspension
Modern hardware replaces the original setup to dramatically improve handling. Up front, inverted forks from a Suzuki GSX-R provide precision and control. At the rear, a single-sided swingarm from a MV Agusta Brutale 800 is paired with high-end wheels, resulting in a planted, responsive ride that far surpasses the original bike’s capabilities.
Styling & Finish
The motorcycle is finished in a clean two-tone scheme, combining British Racing Green with a refined silver inspired by Ferrari. Matte green accents unify the design, creating a look that is understated yet visually striking. The overall aesthetic avoids excess, proving that minimalism can still feel premium and expressive.
This Auto Fabrica build elevates the CB750 into something entirely new—retaining its legendary reliability while injecting excitement, precision, and artistry. It stands as a meticulously crafted café racer that doesn’t just modernize a classic, but redefines it with elegance and intent.
