FOR SALE: 1974 Honda CB750 Cafe Racer

Purpose-built machine with classic café racer attitude

Now offered for sale on Bring a Trailer, this 1974 Honda CB750 café racer began as a disassembled project acquired by the seller in December 2025 before undergoing a comprehensive custom build. The transformation included fresh paintwork, powder-coated frame and wheels, a rebuilt carburetor setup, and a fully overhauled electrical system, resulting in a clean, purpose-built machine with classic café racer attitude.

Finished in a striking white over black color scheme, the fuel tank and café-style bump seat contrast against the blacked-out frame and rims. The minimalist aesthetic is enhanced by LED lighting, while the removal of the front fender and center stand sharpens its stripped-down, race-inspired look.

Riding on wire-spoke 19-inch front and 16-inch rear wheels wrapped in Shinko 777 tires, the bike is equipped with a conventional front fork and dual piggyback rear shocks. Braking is handled by a front disc and rear drum setup, and the seller notes a minor paint chip on one of the wheels.

The cockpit features low-mounted clip-on handlebars paired with aftermarket instrumentation, including a 140-mph speedometer and a 12,000-rpm tachometer. Power comes from the legendary 736cc SOHC inline-four engine, which has been refreshed with rebuilt Keihin carburetors, new spark plugs, and a fresh oil service.

Performance and reliability are further enhanced by a four-into-one exhaust system, foam pod air filters, and an upgraded electrical suite featuring a Dynatek ignition module, Motogadget m.Unit, and an Antigravity lithium-ion battery.

Power is delivered to the rear wheel via a five-speed transmission and chain drive. Offered at no reserve with a Colorado title in the seller’s name, this CB750 café racer represents a thoughtfully rebuilt example of one of Honda’s most iconic platforms, blending vintage character with modern upgrades.
