Roads We Ride – Snowy Mountains

The Roads We Ride collaboration between Transport for NSW, Pipeburn and Stories of Bike continues with a journey into New South Wales’ spectacular Snowy Mountains. Join riding couple Geordie Tait and Zaya Bz as they explore this unspoilt region of Australia. This edition of the Roads We Ride series is all about riding in groups. and the things you need to consider to keep you and your riding buddies safe.

The Snowy Mountains Highway is a 129km stretch of road that runs through the Kosciuszko National Park. The winding, high country road offers up abundant roadside wildlife and scenic pullouts for travellers to enjoy, but can also prove hazardous. On roads like these motorcyclists need to take regular breaks to stay alert. There are also special considerations to be made for your riding buddies. Take a moment to watch the video for a small taste of what can be seen on this incredible stretch of road and always remember to ‘Ride to Live’.
