Riding Gear – Beeline Motorcycle Navigation
Riding a motorcycle is as much about the journey as the destination. But what if you can’t find your destination? Thankfully these days you have a lot of options when it comes to navigation devices. From Bluetooth headsets to quick release phone mounts it’s simply a matter of finding the one that suits you best. Beeline Moto is one of the new players in the motorcycle navigation market. They’ve developed a unique alternative that keeps things simple and won’t clutter up your handlebars.
Just follow the arrow. Less distraction, more freedom.
The small round Beeline unit is designed to easily twist onto a variety of mounting solutions for any motorcycle. Once activated the screen features little more than an easy-to-read arrow pointing you in the direction you need to head. Unlike using your phone on a mount, the Beeline keeps you focused on the road. The clever design removes distracting alerts, notifications and excess controls. There’s no detailed map to distract you either. Once you’ve set your destination you get the choice of using “compass mode” which continuously points toward your goal allowing you to choose which path you want to take. Or you can set it to a turn-by-turn navigation path that follows a pre-set route.
All you need to plan a route is the Beeline app on your phone. With it, you can also track your rides and routes to see where you went on a given day. There’s no need to buy extra maps because the Beeline has global coverage and its rechargeable battery lasts for a whopping 30 hours. The Beeline is waterproof and shockproof and is easily viewed in direct sunlight or at night with its built-in backlight.
Beeline Moto just wrapped up a hugely successful funding round on Kickstarter, so this simple navigation device will be available soon. Discounted pre-orders are now available and will ship out in early 2019.
If you’re looking for a hassle-free way to arrive at your next destination you can order the Beeline Moto here.
