Riding Gear – Ugly Bros Tonup armoured jeans

UglyBros Tonup motorcycle jeans review

With a lower price point than their kevlar lined range, the Ugly Bros Ton-up jeans offer protection against hard knocks. These injuries can be the result of lower-speed collisions, such as urban commuting, which is where the majority of motorcyclists do their riding. Made from mid-weight 12oz denim the jeans feature external pockets on the knees and internal hip pockets that allow the fitment of included CE armour. The jeans inner Thermo layer and quilted thigh pads add additional weight to the jeans and although it won’t withstand the same punishment as Kevlar or Dyneema, it’s a step up from your everyday Levis.

The black Ugly Bros Ton-up jeans are cut for a slim fit and feature a sturdy YKK zipper. Designed specifically with riders in mind the styling of the Ugly Bros Ton-up jeans may not be everybody’s cup of tea. However, thanks to elasticated shirring in the knee and waist panels the jeans reduce fatigue in high-pressure areas for increased riding comfort.
