Orbitkey Return of the Cafe Racers Key Organiser
Every motorcyclist wants to be more streamlined. With no boot or cabin space to utilise, being organised and clutter-free is essential when considering your everyday riding gear. Faced with this issue on a daily basis, Return of the Cafe Racers started looking for ways to reduce our EDC (everyday carry) to the bare minimum. This led to the discovery of Orbitkey’s Key Organiser. This convenient device minimises clutter by reducing your keys into one compact unit. It also wraps them in a protective strap to help reduce the chance of them digging into your body, jingling annoyingly while you ride, or scratching your beloved motorcycle.
At Return of the Cafe Racers, we like everything in our lives to be customised so we’ve collaborated with Orbitkey to create our very own, limited edition Key Organiser. To do this, we looked closely at the materials and design of the Key Organiser and how we could make it more like the riding gear we love.
When deciding which material to use leather was the obvious choice. It has been a staple of motorcycle apparel since the first leather motorcycle jacket was created in 1928. So we utilised handcrafted natural black leather for the exterior. On the inside, we added extra tough crazy horse leather, waxed for durability and finished in chestnut brown. In keeping with our durable theme, we used double stitched seams, like those you’ll find on most protective riding gear, and secured everything together with blacked-out hardware. To round things out we then embossed a checkered flag motif into the leather, a design synonymous with the cafe racer scene and automotive culture.
The limited-edition Key Organisers are available now on the Orbitkey website. Each key organiser is motorcycle/car key ready and is capable of carrying between 2-7 additional keys. All of the metal hardware is weatherproof stainless steel and each Key Organiser comes with a 2-year warranty.
