Listed for sale on Bring a Trailer, this rare Muscle R2 is one of only 99 scrambler-inspired motorcycles produced by Cohn Racers of Miami, Florida. Built from a 2019 Harley-Davidson Sportster Iron 1200 donor bike, it retains the platform’s 1,202cc Evolution V-twin engine and five-speed transmission while receiving a comprehensive transformation focused on performance, lightweight construction, and bespoke craftsmanship.
Central to the build is a custom XR1200-style frame developed using a 3D scan of an original Harley-Davidson XR1200 chassis. The frame supports an extensive collection of carbon-fiber components, including the fuel tank, side covers, chain guard, heel guards, and stator cover. Weight savings were further prioritized through the widespread use of titanium fasteners and hardware throughout the motorcycle.
The Muscle R2 also features numerous billet aluminum components machined specifically for the project. These include the intake manifold, triple clamps, foot pegs, pulley tensioner, and an adjustable five-piece swingarm. Distinctive styling elements such as dual air scoops beneath the fuel tank, a high-mounted license plate bracket, a side stand, and brown leather trim on the seat, tank strap, and accessory bag reinforce the bike’s handcrafted character.
Rolling on 18-inch wire-spoke wheels laced to Harley-Davidson hubs, the motorcycle wears Shinko Adventure Trail tires and combines scrambler-inspired aesthetics with capable road manners. Premium Öhlins suspension components include a 48mm FGRT inverted fork up front and matching piggyback rear shocks, delivering enhanced ride quality and handling precision. Braking is equally impressive, with dual 330mm floating front rotors, a 260mm rear disc, and triple Brembo calipers providing substantial stopping power.
The cockpit features a black handlebar with internally routed wiring, bar-end LED turn signals, dual mirrors, illuminated controls, and textured brown grips. Instrumentation consists of a custom Cohn-branded tachometer with an 8,000-rpm redline, complemented by integrated digital speed and mileage displays. The odometer currently shows just 640 miles.
Power comes from Harley-Davidson’s fuel-injected Evolution V-twin, enhanced with a revised ECU, a downdraft air-intake system, an under-seat oil cooler, and a lightweight titanium two-into-two exhaust fitted with Akrapovič mufflers. Sending power to the rear wheel through a belt-driven five-speed transmission, this limited-production Muscle R2 blends custom engineering, premium materials, and performance-focused upgrades into an exceptionally exclusive modern scrambler.
