Riding Gear – Alpinestars Oscar Brass Jacket
The Oscar Brass is made by motorcycle gear giant Alpinestars as an addition to their Oscar line of heritage, urban riding gear. It’s built from a core of washed and waxed cowhide that’s extra supple, yet still offers protection with its minimum 1.0mm thickness. Furthering the protection factor are CE approved impact armour at the shoulders and elbows. A pocket at the back lets you add a back protector if you want more.
Perforated leather on the sleeves adds ventilation, while the pre-curved arms and gussets at the back of the shoulders let you assume your riding position without constriction. True to its name, the Oscar Brass features brass hardware and zippers and has two vertical chest pockets in addition to the two front hand pockets.
Put it all together and the Alpinestars Oscar Brass motorcycle jacket is a handsome cafe style jacket that already looks like an icon. It’s up to you to give it those years of heavy use that’ll only improve upon this instant classic.
