Bike Of The Day: 1984 Honda CBX750 Custom By X-Axis

This Honda CBX750 by X-Axis is a unique custom build created by former British MXGP champion, Billy MacKenzie. The bike started as an original CBX750 and underwent a complete ‘cafe racer’ transformation in 2018.

The front end features a 2014 Honda CBR600RR combined with the original frame, while the fuel cell, tail, and subframe were redesigned. The engine was meticulously rebuilt by Guy Amor, with upgraded components and custom exhausts. The bike retains original headlights, adds a custom tail light, Daytona gauges, and a synthetic suede saddle.

Equipped with a Motogadget M-Unit control box, it runs on a rebuilt 747cc inline-four engine with a six-speed manual transmission.
