This 1984 Honda V30 Magna started out as VF500C cruiser and modified with work including the installation of the front-end assembly and 17″ wheels from a Honda CBR600F2, a custom subframe, a solo saddle with a tapered tail section, rearsets, LED lighting, a rear disc brake, a Honda VF500F swingarm, and a monoshock.
The bodywork was completed in white with blue and gold stripes at Knight’s Kustoms in Winchester, Virginia, and the frame was powder-coated red at Right A Way Powder Coating in Middletown, Maryland. Features comprise a 3.7-gallon fuel tank from a Suzuki T500, a stock front fender modified and positioned high, an LED headlight, a custom aluminum flyscreen hand-shaped, and number plates on both sides.
The liquid-cooled 498cc V4, originally delivering 64 horsepower and 32 lb-ft of torque, sends power to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a cush drive modified to accommodate the rear CBR wheel. Equipment includes a quartet of 32mm Keihin CV carburetors mounted under a fabricated aluminum airbox housing a custom-sized K&N air filter and a pair of two-into-one stainless-steel exhausts.
