Cognito Moto, based in Richmond, Virginia, revamped a 1971 BMW R75/5 into a striking “brat tracker.” The motorcycle showcases a custom red and black fuel tank, powder-coated black frame, and wheels, with a Meyerbuilt Metalworks handcrafted front fender and a New Church Moto-upholstered seat.

The cockpit boasts Renthal low-rise bars, a Brembo master cylinder, Motogadget mini button switch gear, and Motodemic headlight brackets. A Motogadget tachometer with a digital speed indicator modernizes the display, while a Motogadget M-unit Blue controls the electronics via Bluetooth.
The R75/5 engine underwent a Siebenrock 1,000cc upgrade with high compression pistons, Nikasil-lined cylinders, dual 38mm Dell’orto carburetors, and Kibblewhite Precision Machining enhancements. Additional features include an EME electronic ignition, high-performance starter, Enduralast III alternator, new coils, and an adjustable voltage regulator, completing this impressive transformation.
