A striking fusion of Hollywood creativity and classic custom culture, this heavily modified 2023 Triumph Bonneville Bobber is now listed for sale on Bring a Trailer. Built by the film production workshop at Glory Motorworks in Ventura, California, the project was commissioned for a motion picture company seeking a modern bobber with authentic vintage attitude. The result is a one-of-a-kind machine that blends contemporary engineering with old-school styling cues rarely seen on modern motorcycles.
Finished in Matte Bottle Green, the Bonneville Bobber has been radically transformed with the addition of a custom hydraulically damped girder fork fabricated by Voodoo Vintage. A structural hardtail strut replaces the factory rear suspension, giving the bike the rigid-frame silhouette of traditional post-war bobbers. The stripped-down design is further emphasized by the deletion of the stock fenders, side panels, turn signals, and license plate bracket.
The custom chassis rides on a black-finished 19-inch Excel alloy front wheel laced with polished stainless spokes to a Moto Guzzi drum-style hub, while the rear features an 18-inch Excel rim paired with a conical drum-look hub and Nissin braking hardware. Firestone zig-zag tread tires complete the period-correct appearance.
A floating solo saddle, black Bates-style headlight, and Biltwell cockpit components add to the handcrafted aesthetic. The controls also feature Magura dog-leg levers and a custom BAAK cable-pull throttle conversion replacing the stock ride-by-wire setup.
Power comes from Triumph’s liquid-cooled 1,198cc parallel-twin engine producing a factory-rated 77 horsepower. Fuel injection is cleverly disguised with Amal Monobloc-inspired throttle bodies, while a brushed stainless two-into-two exhaust system with custom muffler extensions enhances both the visual drama and soundtrack.
