Ronin Motor Works is a Denver-based motorcycle boutique who is known for their 47 Ronin motorcycles named after the forty-seven rōnin (a legendary real-life group of masterless samurai under daimyō Asano Naganori in 18th-century Japan).

It all started when Harley-Davidson eliminated the Buell brand and started liquidating the 1125 series motorcycles in 2009. Then the guys behind Ronin Motor Works rescued 47 of the “Ronin” 1125 series Buell motorcycles for their “The 47 Project”. The final product is as beautiful from an engineering perspective as it is pretty to look at. Each bike is actually named after the forty-seven ronin from the Japanese legend.
