Moped Gangs…It sounds like a contradiction, but it’s real alright, and film maker Nicolas Davenel aims to educate us all with his comically titled “Live Fast, Ride Slow” documentary. He’s released a 4 minute trailer and is now searching for funding to complete the full length version. The film follows the exploits of Denver’s BLACK BLACK gang and their eclectic mix of custom Mopeds as they go about wrenching, riding and having a raucous good time. Judging by the trailer it looks like an awesome project that could be well worth a contribution. Watch the trailer after the jmp…

“BLACK BLACK is an illusive post apocalyptic gang from Denver Colorado. It was founded in the fall of 2008. No one knows who really started this gang as they are so secretive. You will know them not by a head light sticker but rather a headlight animal. As they keep a skull mounted the front of their mopeds “to ward off …” he mumbles. Another interesting fact is the name black black comes from B B or BE BRUTAL. Just a small window as to how secretive they are.”

The rules of the BLACK BLACK gang/code:
1. BE BRUTAL
2. BLAST EVERYTHING
3. NO DRAMA and if there is drama END IT bye any means necessary
4. BLACK MOPED
5. RIDE EVERY DAY
6. SHRED TILL WE DEAD
