Velocette Motorcycles
Handmade Velocettes started rolling out of the small Birmingham Veloce factory in 1905. The marque introduced innovations into motorcycle design still used today. Perhaps the most unique and recognizable Velocette is the LE, with its 149cc flat twin set under a bulky pressed steel box frame. This motorcycle became Velocettes highest selling model and remained so until the company went into voluntary liquidation in 1971.
