Readers Rides: Bultaco TSS Race Replica

This 1977 370 two-stroke engined Bultaco TSS street legal race replica built around a 1972 Astro frame by Nathan from Tennessee. Rather than fill in the blanks myself with this one I will let Nathan tell the bikes story.

"I purchased the Bultaco in 2011 from local Bultaco guru, Jeff Younger. The motorcycle came to me mostly restored and I just added all the flare it needed to finish it! I repainted parts of the frame, had a friend build a set of rear-sets, replaced all the hoses and fitted new Works shocks. With it being a 370 two stroke it turns a lot of heads on the street because it’s LOUD ass hell. Getting use to right side GP shifting has been fun also as had trying not to stall it in traffic. People don’t like to wait on a man roll starting his bike. I got a lot of horns and fingers while learning how to ride this beast. It came with a lot of old racing parts like front brake air dams, a steering stabilizer built into the head set and the Tommaselli clipons."
