Rocker Classic Motorcycles in Queensland Australia recently sent through these images of their shop bike the Mark 1. The company aims to produce affordable custom motorcycles to the masses using motorcycles and parts sourced from Japan and the USA.
The Mark 1 is based on the mighty Yamaha SR400 and showcases the range of "bolt on" products available through their store. Rocker's work on the Mark 1 may not be anything new to those who have seen the plethora of custom options for the Yamaha SR but their approach is a much welcome one.
Until now custom workshops have tended to hike up prices on the products they supply due to the fact that many home builders simply don't know where to find the parts (or just don't know what they are actually worth). This has resulted in stores that sell headlights for no less than $200, handlebars for about the same and if you want a custom tank you'd better talk to your accountant.
Rocker Classic Motorcycles will also help you import and register a motorcycle that may be hard to get in Australia, adding another huge benefit to their service offering. If your Queensland drop in pay them a visit. They are also looking to set up a local 59 club if you're looking to meet other Cafe Racer riders.
