The W650 is sitting in my garage awaiting licensing and remains unmodified. Australian law requires that the bike pass a pit examination before I can register it for use on West Australian roads and until this has happened I won't be starting the Cafe Racer project (I'm aiming for early next week). This however has not stopped me from ordering more parts and today some more of my stage 1 parts arrived.
I purchased these parts from the Deus ex Machina website and they look great. The gummy grips ($26AUD) are pretty standard and look well made but I will need to cut holes in the ends for my bar end mirrors, hopefully this won't shorten their life span .
The indicators are polished aluminium and look awesome. Each set came with extensions for the cabling and rubber covers to conceal the fastening bolts. They are produced by Posh & Faith co ltd in Japan and retailed for $99AUD a pair (not cheap but they are top quality and will certainly look better than the standard indicators on the bike!
